We were selected to create porcelain souvenir mugs, keepsake ornaments, and tourist magnets for Mt. Rushmore National Monument.  

An Ambitious Project

Translating several photographs into a 3-D sculptural relief piece of art is challenging, however when the curvature of a mug is added to specific identifiable iconic portraits of some of our most significant Presidents, the challenge is quite simply overwhelming for most souvenir vendors.

We jumped at the chance to create these complex works of art, because we knew that if we could create Washington, Lincoln, Roosevelt and Jefferson's likenesses in rather small sculptural relief, we could quite literally accomplish anything we set our minds (and hands) to do!   

We consider this project to be a milestone for us, because it set the bar of achievement so far above what most souvenir mug and collectible souvenir ornament vendors are able to achieve.  In fact, we think the bar was set even higher than WE thought we could achieve when we first took on this project.  

But as you evaluate the details of the sculpture, we think you'll see the presidential likenesses that point to the iconic imagery of Mt Rushmore National Monument.

All of our products are functional works of art.  They are intended to be used.  Our porcelain mugs have a capacity of 20 ounces and are excellent thermal insulators which mean your beverages will stay either hot or cold, as you intended, for much longer than other mediums.  The dishwasher and microwave are our friends and our products are happy in them.  (We use them all the time on the vast collection of souvenir mugs that we have in our home.)
