We were commissioned to create a porcelain souvenir mug, a porcelain porcelain collectible souvenir ornament, and a porcelain magnet for Crater Lake National Park in 2009 and have enjoyed hand-crafting these designs for them ever since then.
Our design was inspired by the 6 cent United States Postal Stamp of 1934 with its monochrome blue color way and enchanting vista view sweeping across the lake and the towering trees around its edge. This stamp was one of a series celebrating the national parks and has a fascinating backstory.
